How Banwell Homes handles information on this website.
This website doesn't have any contact forms, sign-ups, or accounts, so we don't collect or store any personal information through it. There's nothing to opt out of and nothing to request the deletion of, because nothing is being stored.
Every "Call" and "WhatsApp" button on this site is a direct link that opens your own phone or WhatsApp app, the conversation happens there, not on this website, and is covered by your phone provider's or WhatsApp's own privacy terms, not ours. We don't see or store anything about that exchange beyond what you'd expect from a normal phone call or WhatsApp chat with a local business.
This site is a set of static pages, text, photos, and video of real work we've done. It doesn't run analytics, doesn't set tracking cookies, and doesn't share any data with advertisers, because none of that is built into it.
The one thing it does load from outside our own server is the Google Fonts used for the site's typography (Archivo and Source Sans 3), served from Google's servers. Loading any web font this way can result in your device's IP address being visible to Google as part of that request, the same as it would be for any website using Google Fonts. We don't control or see that data ourselves.
We're a carpentry and fencing business based in Betty's Bay, serving the surrounding Overberg coast, and we're a small, local operation, not a large company with a dedicated data department.
